Hello Devs ! Here are some of my personal favorite website that come handy while designing a website. And by designing I mean - colors, fonts, icons, media, etc. Here are some of the best resources [FREE obviously] that can be used to style up your site and make the site more appealing to the end users.
COLORS - theme of your website.
It's a good practice to decide the theme of your site beforehand, to get the design aligned to your expected outcome. Try to keep your site, a duo-tone or a trio-tone one! Use either two or three colors, in contrast with each other to give it a more pleasing look.
Few of the resources which can help you to decide your color theme of the site.
- Flat UI Colors - some of the best palettes available. Choose a whole set of palette for your website and you are good to go !
- Color Hunt - choose from a wide variety of already created palette of 4 colors each. Use one as your primary and rest of them as for text,etc.
Fonts - the website should speak for itself
Choose a font according to the target audience of the website. Is it a Landing page? Use some clean font to convey the information. Is it a Game developed using JS? Why not use some of the fancy Comic Sans fonts.
- Google Fonts The all time savior. Google fonts is always my first choice to get the best fonts. Just select the font and choose your font-weights accordingly and include the CDN in your project to get going.
Icons - Write less and express more !
Use icons from a wide variety to get convey the messages to your end users in a more meaningful and descriptive way.

Choose from a wide range of icons ranging from social media icons to special character symbols. The best part is you can color up the icons according to your them just by providing the
